Your Mission As an Automation Engineer PCS7 , you’ll be a driving force behind automation projects, particularly in Expansion projects, helping to create a seamless bridge between production and automation. You’ll work closely with end users, fine-tune processes, and actively shape the future of automation internally.
What You’ll Do

• Lead & support Siemens PCS7 automation projects
• Own & optimise SIMATIC Batch processes , performing small-scale programming & adjustments.
• Act as the process owner for automation topics, supporting production teams & ensuring smooth operations.
• Test, validate, and fine-tune automation systems for long-term efficiency.
• Help establish PCS7 knowledge
• Support IT/OT integration - configure network connections & IP addressing for automated systems.
• Work hands-on in commissioning (Inbetriebnahme) and continuous system improvements.
• Engage with shop-floor teams , providing expert insights and ensuring seamless integration.

What You Bring

• Min 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens PCS7 & SIMATIC Batch.
• Strong programming & troubleshooting skills (small-scale modifications & optimisation's).
• GxP/GMP experience in pharma or regulated industries preferred.
• IT/OT network integration knowledge (understanding IP addressing, system architecture) is a great plus.
• Commissioning (Inbetriebnahme) experience , you know how to get systems running smoothly.
• Ability to work independently, you’re proactive, solution-oriented, and can take ownership.
• Bonus: Experience with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) & reading electrical schematics.
• English Fluent (project language), German technical understanding a big plus (motivation to learn German is welcomed)
