Location: Longmoor Camp
Salary: £15.25 per hour
Hours: 40 per week (full-time, site-based)
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7, a mix of early and late shifts

We are recruiting two motivated Cooks to join our catering team at Longmoor Camp, part of ESS within Compass Group.

As part of the kitchen team, you will support the preparation and delivery of high‑quality meals for approximately 400 Service Personnel. You’ll work across two on‑site kitchens alongside a well‑established team of 16.

This is a busy and rewarding role offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to learn, develop, and make a meaningful contribution each day.

A background or interest in food preparation is preferred.

Early Shift: 05:00 – 13:30
Late Shift: 10:30 – 19:00
Working Pattern: 5 days over 7

Meal Service Times:

• Breakfast: 07:00 – 08:00
• Lunch: 12:00 – 15:00
• Evening Meal: 17:00 – 18:00

• An interest in food preparation and catering (previous cook or kitchen experience preferred)
• Willingness to learn and follow food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work well as part of a large, fast‑paced team
