About the Role Truist is seeking an experienced iOS DevOps Engineer to join their mobile engineering team. This role involves supporting scalable build automation, DevOps workflows, and iOS engineering best practices across the organization. You will work onsite and collaborate closely with developers, QA, and platform teams to optimize delivery pipelines and ensure high-quality mobile application releases.
Key Responsibilities Manage and scale a fleet of GitLab macOS runners to support high-volume iOS build automation. Implement, maintain, and optimize Fastlane, App Store Connect API integrations, and code signing automation. Support logging, crash reporting, and analytics systems, including Crashlytics and accessibility frameworks. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, repeatable build and release processes. Collaborate with mobile engineers to streamline Xcode build processes and improve development productivity. Participate in mobile DevOps community initiatives and leverage open-source tooling where beneficial. Explore and support GenAI-based developer tooling such as GitHub Copilot to enhance development workflows.
Required Skills & Experience Strong iOS development background, including Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. Deep understanding of Xcode build systems, iOS mobile application architectures, and Apple ecosystem tooling. Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, automated testing frameworks, and pipeline integration. Familiarity with mobile observability: logging frameworks, Crashlytics, and analytics systems. Exposure to mobile DevOps community tools or open-source contributions is a plus. Experience with modern developer tooling, including GenAI-powered coding assistants.
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
