Roles and Responsibilities: Must Have Technical Skills:
Digital: Microsoft Azure; Windows Servers; Compute; Cloud; Windows Powershell; PL/SQL; powerBI Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop semantic models and Power BI dashboards by integrating data from multiple sources, including Azure DevOps and Halo, to provide Team Leads and stakeholders with a unified, comprehensive view of operational data. Create calculated columns and advanced DAX measures to deliver customized KPIs, metrics, and actionable insights aligned with business requirements. Develop and optimize KQL and SQL queries to filter, aggregate, and join data from various data sources for seamless Power BI integration. Own Power BI dataset governance and security, including role-based access control (RLS), workspace management, and adherence to organizational data standards. Manage the Power BI deployment pipeline, ensuring reports and datasets move reliably from development through testing and into production. Utilize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse for data ingestion from Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring consistent data append, availability, and readiness for downstream semantic models and reporting. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable analytics solutions. Generic Managerial Skills:
Data Center Discovery and Migration, Infrastructure as Code(IaC); Azure Monitoring; Kusto; ADO Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and reports. Expertise in DAX, including complex calculations, measures, and performance optimization. Proficiency in SQL and KQL for querying, transforming, and aggregating data. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) data and enterprise reporting use cases. Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse or modern data lake / lakehouse architectures. Experience with Power BI security, governance, and deployment pipelines. Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership of analytics solutions.
