The development of technical solutions with partners is essential for ensuring customer success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of advertising products and contribute significantly to our business operations. As trusted advisors, our Solutions Architects help organizations develop advanced cloud-based solutions and strategically prioritize their technology roadmaps. You will work to enhance awareness and usage of Amazon ad tech, including Amazon Marketing Cloud, within the digital advertising landscape. Additionally, you will provide essential support to overcome business, product, and technical challenges, collaborating with various teams in Ads and AWS, including product, business development, service-oriented teams, marketing, and sales, to align goals and maximize long-term value. Key Responsibilities: Establish and nurture relationships with technology leaders across advertising agencies, SaaS providers, and large clients to drive awareness of Amazon Ads ad tech. Act as a trusted advisor, building rapport with partners and clients to assist them in their critical advertising and marketing transformations, leveraging your hands-on solution architect skills in REST API and SDK development. Support global leaders in achieving revenue targets through the adoption of advertising products, applications, software, and services alongside business development initiatives. Engage customers to communicate the value of Amazon ad tech and guide them through architectural decisions to ensure successful deployment of solutions. Collaborate closely with internal product teams to align product strategies with market demands, ensuring we capitalize on future developments. Facilitate partner education and training on Amazon Ads positioning while contributing to the industry's thought leadership. Key Requirements: Experience in designing and implementing microservices and SOA, particularly in distributed systems. Proficiency in application integration, including API management and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of emerging technologies, including generative AI and agentic solutions. A day-to-day focus on collaborating with Amazon Ads partners to promote, implement, and activate advertising technology use cases. Work closely with key stakeholders to return customer feedback, enhancing the efficiency and self-service capabilities of our advertising products. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and infrastructure. 4+ years of specialized experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, or analytics. 3+ years of direct IT development or consulting experience within software or internet sectors. Proficiency in verbal and written communication to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership. 3+ years of customer-facing experience, working with customer executives and partners to address business challenges using advanced technologies. Experience in online or digital advertising. 1+ year demonstrating analytical skills, utilizing data to inform decisions and recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: Background in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting. Experience engaging with end-users or developer communities. Hands-on experience with customer implementations. 2+ years presenting to and communicating with senior or executive audiences.
