The Role: Package EngineerAs a key member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:
- Oversee the design, coordination, and management of multiple sub-contractors across various trades.
- Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, and Client agents.
- Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Ensure that SRM's obligations to sub-contractors are clearly understood and fulfilled.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Can prepare a 3-week look-ahead programme with the assistance of a project planner.
- Has proven experience in package management.
- Experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator is a plus!
- Is knowledgeable about building products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Is working towards a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, IStructE).
