Job Description: Required skills: The Telecommunication Software Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting applications, workflows, and integrations within the Telecommunication Broadband Network Management System (Software). The role involves working closely with network engineering, OSS teams, and operations groups to automate provisioning, improve network management capabilities, and maintain reliable OSS functionality across optical and transport networks. Nice to have skills: • • Strong knowledge of Software architecture, provisioning workflows, and OSS integration. • Hands-on experience with TL1, SNMP, XML, CORBA, or related NMS/OSS protocols. • Scripting/programming: o Python, Perl, Shell, or Java o SQL / relational database experience • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments. • Experience with telecom network technologies: o SONET/SDH, OTN o DWDM o Ethernet services (E-Line, E-LAN, EPL/EVPL) o MPLS/IP transport • Exposure to OSS/BSS systems (inventory, activation, ticketing).
