**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Database Developer with an active Department of Defense Top Secret (DoD TS) clearance to join our team. The Database Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems while ensuring their security and integrity.
**Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Active Department of Defense Top Secret (DoD TS) clearance. - Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role. - Strong knowledge of software development, database concepts, SQL, and data modeling. - Experience with data analytics. - Familiarity with DoD security regulations is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
**Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain database architecture in line with business requirements. - Ensure the security and integrity of databases by implementing access controls and backups. - Optimize database performance through regular monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. - Collaborate with software developers to integrate database systems with applications. - Develop and implement data migration strategies. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members on database-related issues. - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in database development.
**Additional Requirements:** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed. - Certification in database management is a plus.
