Automation Expert 100% (m/w7d)

We are seeking a skilled Automation Expert 100% for the Lonza AG in Visp.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Perform off-line and on-line coding, testing, and peer reviewing of automation solutions.

• Change Management: Own the design and execution of Automation Change Records (ACRs) and qualification/commissioning documentation.

• Leadership & Support: Serve as the Automation Lead for unit operations on complex projects and provide expert troubleshooting for system malfunctions.

• Strategy: Contribute to the development of site-wide automation policies and new approaches to improve quality and efficiency.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or equivalent) or extensive, relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in industrial automation within a regulated environment (ideally Pharma/Biotech).

• Strong proficiency in PLC/DCS programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, DeltaV) and experience with GxP environment and validation processes.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams on complex projects (e.g., tech transfers, capital projects).

• English business fluent (written and spoken) is required
