Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC / Las Colinas, TX / Chandler, AZ
Salary Range: $65-$70/hr on W2
Introduction
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Network Engineering. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Network Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Your contributions will help resolve complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. You will strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications 5 years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. 5 years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line. Experience in routing and switching methods such as VXLAN overlay networking. 5 years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment. 5 years of experience designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprises. Ability to work some nights and weekends. Prior work experience in the client's industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification preferred - Data Center. Strong understanding of QoS configurations to support enterprise standards. Strong experience in configuring Cisco and Arista Routers/Switches. Strong understanding of layer 2 switching protocols: Spanning Tree, Trunking, Etherchannel. Understanding of MLAG, EVPN, CVP, Multicast, HSRP, CBWFQ, DSCP, NAT/SNAT, TCP/IP, Ethernet. Understanding of DNS/domain services. Python/Ansible/GITHUB experience a plus. Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now. Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills. Experience with Client Office, Visio Professional. Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products. Large Financial Services experience. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support data center network infrastructure (routers and switches) implementations, migrations, and decommissions. Create and update technical design documentation used by engineering teams. Work in the office 3 days a week. Company Benefits & Culture
