Responsibilities
**This role is hybrid out of our office in downtown Greenville, SC **
The Network Engineer is a key technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale network solutions. This role requires engineering expertise, strong analytical, self-motivation skills, and the ability to drive complex network initiatives across data center, cloud, and remote environments.
Network Architecture & Engineering Design, implement, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions. Engineer scalable network architectures across datacenter, cloud (AWS preferred), and remote sites. Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, VoIP/UC, RFID, and cloud networking issues. Develop innovative solutions aligned with business strategy, technology standards, and security policies. Support network changes and standards via automation initiatives (Python, GitHub). Production Support & Incident Response
Advanced troubleshooting for critical incidents and performance issues. Maintain expertise in routing protocols, switching, monitoring tools, and addressing schemes. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across all network environments. Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Project & Vendor Management
Serve as the technical lead on major initiatives, ensuring successful execution. Participate in project planning, estimations, and technical decisions. Manage vendor relationships and work closely with external partners. Team
Collaboration & Mentorship
Provide technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing to your fellow colleagues. Ensure meeting team requirements and high-quality delivery. Foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Security, Compliance & Governance
Implement secure access controls, encryption, auditability, and network compliance. Support consistent operational and security practices across all environments. Modernization, Optimization & Automation
Support network modernization efforts and architectural improvements. Identify automation opportunities and enhance observability. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and best practices. Contribute to tooling that improves monitoring and operational efficiency. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer. Advanced expertise in LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, and network security. Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical networks. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Hands-on experience with AWS networking and compliance architectures. Strong understanding of performance tuning, HA/DR, IAM, encryption, and monitoring frameworks. Excellent communication skills under pressure. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CMNA, CMSS, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty. Experience with UC/VoIP, RFID, and enterprise cloud networking. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and modernization efforts.

Base Salary:
$85,000-$115,000 USD
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
All full-time salaried employees are eligible for the following benefits, starting on day one: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages. You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
