As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

What You'll Need:
BS in engineering (electrical,mechanical, industrial, civil) or equivalent work experience
Proven experience and knowledgearound City of Portland and Oregon State Building Performance Standards, andexperience working with Oregon Energy Trust for Incentive Finding. (Or similarState-run standards, i.e. Washington)
Strong proven experience with energyconservation, energy management, performance contracting or energy engineering.
Experience with building automationsystem/controls and commissioning/retro-commissioning processes andimprovements ideal.
Proven record of excellentinternal and external customer service
Professional Engineer (PE) and/orCertified Energy Manager (CEM) highly desired

Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely,reliable, and courteous service to customers.
Ability to effectively presentinformation at various levels tactical personnel to strategic leadership.

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Abilityto calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, andcommissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requiresadvanced analytical and quantitative skills
Carbon footprint reporting experience or training preferred.Training and accreditation part of development and performance managementrequirements
Experience with Microsoft suite, Smartsheet, Tableau Prep Conductor or Power Query, TableauDesktop or Microsoft PowerBI, and SharePoint is a plus.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mechatronic & Robotics Tech position is $63,356.80 annually [or $30.46per hour] and the maximum salary for the Mechatronic & Robotics Tech position is $73,008.00 annually [or $35.10per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
