We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
* Assist in four-handed dentistry by providing support during dental procedures.
* Review and document patient medical records accurately.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
* Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
* Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and documentation.
* Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
* Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to dental health.
* Proficiency in assisting during various dental procedures.
* Excellent documentation review skills to maintain accurate medical records.
* In-depth understanding of infection control standards in a dental setting.
* Ability to provide compassionate patient care and build rapport with patients.
* Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
* Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
* Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.

Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
