What you’ll achieve
As a
HPC Senior System Development Engineer
, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.
You will: Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
Hands-on management of server, storage, and network components
Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

Hands-on experience with HPC cluster architecture, deployment, and management, including underlying building blocks, cluster deployment/management tools (e.g., Bright Cluster Manager, Omnia, OCAHMI), and cluster monitoring frameworks (e.g., Ganglia, Nagios).
Familiarity with the Linux Operating System in an integration engineering context.
Experience in integration and system testing, including the ability to create test plans and test scenarios
Hands-on experience with Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnects.
Familiarity with System Management tools (e.g., IPMI).
Desirable Requirements Understanding Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA processor architectures, with exposure to NVIDIA GPGPUs.
Experience optimizing HPC applications in industry verticals and developing end‑to‑end HPC solution proposals for customer requirements
Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $123,000.00- $185,000.00
