Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We are a growing provider of scientific instruments for the analysis of molecular interactions and are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Software Engineer for our innovative heliOS software. Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs to extract user stories and scenarios
• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, release, and support software solutions
• Write automated acceptance tests to ensure that all scenarios are fulfilled
• Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware
• Collaborate with teams across the company to meet organizational goals
• Recommend and implement improvements to the development process

Qualifications

• A degree in a natural science or similar field
• Proficiency in modern software development with C# and .NET
• Experience in Test-Driven Development, Refactoring, and Pair Programming
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Experience in GUI development using WPF is a plus
• Experience in working with event-sourced systems is a plus
• Great written and verbal communication skills in English
