Job Description

We are a growing provider of scientific instruments for the analysis of molecular interactions and are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Software Engineer for our innovative heliOS software. We welcome applications from experienced engineers who want to use their innovative minds to create outstanding software.


Responsibilities
  • Analyze user needs to extract user stories and scenarios
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, release, and support software solutions
  • Write automated acceptance tests to ensure that all scenarios are fulfilled
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to meet organizational goals
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the development process

Qualifications
  • A degree in a natural science or similar field
  • Proficiency in modern software development with C# and .NET
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development, Refactoring, and Pair Programming
  • Experience working in an agile development process
  • Experience in GUI development using WPF is a plus
  • Experience in working with event-sourced systems is a plus
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English
