About
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Pharmacist-PRN to provide accurate medication distribution services and offer patients counseling on their medication needs. The successful candidate will be able to compound methadone medication, track medication inventory and as needed, review patient medication history and make recommendations to physicians as the situation requires. The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are filled in a timely manner and meets the health requirements of patients.
*Responsibilities*
* Collaborate with physician to discuss potential incompatibility issues regarding patient prescriptions
* Compound methadone medication
* Must be willing to be present for internal and external audits
* Maintain an accurate inventory of methadone medication
* Offer information to assist patients with understanding how to properly take their prescribed medications
* Assist patients as needed in solving problems, such as identifying old medication or finding an over-the-counter solution to minor health issues.
* Dispense medication to patients on as-needed basis.
* Conduct medication bottle recalls as Clinical Program and Medical Program Directors deem necessary.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
