Hours: 3 days per week (21 hours)
Salary: £36,000 pro rata

Your RoleWe are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, skilled, and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will:
- Support the education of children across the South region.
- Offer guidance to foster carers, schools, and a wide network of professionals.
- Utilize your adaptability to teach across all key stages and support children with complex needs.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Relevant classroom experience
- A flexible and creative approach to supporting children's education
- Strong decision-making skills to resolve complex educational issues
- A working knowledge of the educational needs and entitlements for children and young people
As an Advisory Teacher, you will:
- Advise on educational provisions for children within the centre.
- Monitor the educational progress of all children associated with the centre.
- Support centre staff on educational matters.
- Assist in developing education support policies and procedures.
- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to advise on childcare and personal education plans.
- Liaise with professionals to ensure each child's educational needs are met.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals.
- Maintain accurate and effective education case records.
- Promote relationships with schools and local authority professionals.
