*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead complex projects within our water and wastewater operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive program development, enhance process efficiencies, and ensure successful project delivery across diverse teams. *Responsibilities*
* Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects using established project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe.
* Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, schedule management using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and budget control aligned with organizational goals.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to accurately define project scope and objectives; translate business needs into technical solutions through process mapping and business process modeling.
* Manage project risks through proactive risk management strategies; conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
* Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes to ensure quality deliverables within budget constraints.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams by facilitating meetings, conflict resolution, and communication to maintain momentum and stakeholder engagement.
* Utilize PPM tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Confluence for project tracking, reporting progress via dashboards, earned value management, and status updates.
*Experience*
* Proven experience supervising teams in project management environments with a strong emphasis on change management and continuous improvement practices like Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma.
* Demonstrated expertise in program development, project lifecycle management, and portfolio management within the water or utilities sector preferred.
* Strong knowledge of technical tools including Visio, SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAS, or similar software for process documentation and data analysis.
* Skilled in requirements analysis, process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, with certification preferred (e.g., PMP®, Green Belt).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings effectively; adept at negotiation and conflict management to foster collaborative solutions.

Pay: $68,293.45 - $100,000.00 per year
