Competitive Pay: Rates starting at $20/hour + bonus incentivesComprehensive Benefits (Full-Time): Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, and disabilityGenerous Paid Time Off (Full-Time): 3 weeks + 8 holidaysCareer Growth: Continuing education (CE) credits, mentorship, and advancement opportunitiesWork-Life Balance: 1-hour lunch break and a consistent scheduleModern Facility: 9 operatory multi-specialty office, fully digital charting, and advanced equipmentConvenient Location: Easy access in Smithtown with off-street parking Your Schedule Monday-Thursday: 9AM-6PMFriday: 9AM-5PMSaturday: 9AM-3PM (two Saturdays per month) Your Role as a Dental Assistant Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for patientsAssist dentists chairside during procedures, passing instruments and supporting patient comfortTake and process digital x-raysPrepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and materialsPour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliancesMaintain equipment and perform preventive maintenanceTrack supplies and ensure operatories are stocked and organizedDocument patient services accurately in digital recordsEducate patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and preventive practices What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required)Certificate from a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred)Current NY DA license, or DANB CDA, ICE & RHS certifications (preferred)CPR certificationAt least 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)Denticon software knowledge (a plus)Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-first mindset Interview Process Phone InterviewIn-Person Interview At Now Dental of Suffolk, you won’t just find a job - you’ll find a team that values your contributions, supports your growth, and empowers you to thrive.
