About
Key Responsibilities
* End-User Support: Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues across head office and retail locations.
* System Administration: Maintain and troubleshoot Windows 11 desktops and Windows Server 2019+ environments.
* Application Support: Assist with SAGE200 and other business-critical applications.
* Linux Systems (Desirable): Exposure to CentOS and Debian for server and application hosting.
* Networking: Configure and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
* Project Work: Participate in IT projects such as:
* Equipment rollouts and upgrades
* Store opening preparation and IT setup
* Mobile device deployment and management
* Security & Compliance: Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and company policies.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019+ administration.
* Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Linux (CentOS/Debian).
* Knowledge of SAGE200 or similar systems.
* Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
