NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management to sales operations, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $10B+ annual advertising business. The Business Intelligence team within AP&S leverages data to empower business customers with actionable insights that drive performance and decision-making. We are currently seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to manage the design and implementation of scalable data solutions, empowering stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Strategy with data analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, the Senior Analytics Engineer will:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of analytical reporting ETL pipelines and front-end interfaces (e.g., dashboards) using SQL, Python, Snowflake, and pipeline management tools.
Oversee QA and UAT processes, ensuring data quality and solution effectiveness.
Provide training and ongoing support to data users, enabling effective utilization of data solutions.
Collaborate on the development of advanced analytics prototypes to drive strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for scalability and knowledge transfer
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data pipeline development.
OR Master's degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience and a strong analytics portfolio, demonstrating technical skills and stakeholder management.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Architecture, ETL, and Data Warehouse methodologies.
Experience with SQL for data manipulation or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or MicroStrategy.
Familiarity with data integration tools like Dataiku or dbt.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving
Proven ability to effectively communicate complete data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing approach to ensure scalability.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, driving alignment between business and data teams.
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments, prioritize tasks, and drive solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a media company, specifically within advertising sales.

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000
