Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming orders accurately.
- Use RF scanners, pick lists, or voice-picking technology to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform repetitive lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent spatial awareness and navigation skills within a warehouse.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding and commitment to warehouse safety procedures.
