About
We are seeking an energetic Fulfillment Associate to join our busy distribution center in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, playing a key part in our overall logistics chain. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety.
- Label shipments with correct shipping information and track shipments as needed.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damages.
- Stock merchandise in assigned locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning devices safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Strictly follow guidelines for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals and ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned by management.
Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment is a strong asset. Must possess the ability to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs regularly. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for this logistics role. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of and adherence to safety procedures. Background check and drug screening are required.
