Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Distribution Center Associate to join our team in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our distribution network, focusing on the accurate and timely movement of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving and inspecting shipments, stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing items for outbound logistics. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 70 lbs. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Accurately stock and organize merchandise within the distribution center.
  • Pick and pack orders according to specific requirements.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Strictly follow all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 lbs, on a regular basis.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
