We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker to join our logistics team in Boise, Idaho. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing order lists or scanning equipment to locate and retrieve products. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning technology.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
- Understand and follow all logistics and warehouse protocols.
- Perform duties that may involve lifting and moving merchandise.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and item codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with scanning guns or RF scanners is a plus.
