Become a key member of our fulfillment center as a Picker/Packer in St. Louis, Missouri. This essential role involves accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. You will be responsible for ensuring order accuracy, efficient picking methods, and high-quality packing to protect products during transit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a physically active role. This position requires consistent Lifting and moving of various items. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace Safety , and all employees are required to follow strict guidelines and wear appropriate PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring quality.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Understand and follow best practices in warehouse Logistics .
- Identify and report any damaged products or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping goals.
