Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for our facility in Provo, Utah. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document all received items in the inventory management system accurately and promptly.
- Tag and label inventory items according to established procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, ensuring clear access and compliance with safety standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Coordinate with inventory control and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with put-away of received goods as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory control role is desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular standing, walking, and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
