We are hiring Picker/Packers in Chicago, Illinois, to be a vital part of our efficient logistics network! You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory according to customer orders and then expertly packing them for shipment. Your precision in picking and care in packing ensures that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. We provide all essential PPE and training to ensure your Safety and compliance. The role involves regular Lifting of items, typically up to 40 lbs, and requires adherence to strict Safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products for customer orders.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and moderate Lifting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
