Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against manifest documents.
- Sort, stage, and put away received goods into designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order requirements using RF scanners.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training and certification provided).
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, free from hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with truck loading and unloading operations.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to prevent personal injury and product damage.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
