About
Join our growing team in Portland, Oregon, as an Order Picker! We are seeking dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from our warehouse inventory. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating items, scanning them, and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to our fulfillment process and requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Your role supports our broader Logistics operations, and we emphasize a strong commitment to Safety , providing all necessary PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner.
- Scan items to confirm order accuracy and update inventory.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and use required PPE .
- Contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Perform tasks involving frequent movement and some Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Proficiency with barcode scanners.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices and willingness to use PPE .
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics is helpful.
