About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves, scanning products, and preparing them for the packing station. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols within our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Locate products on warehouse shelves and transport them to the packing area.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other relevant equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication skills.
