We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize stock loss and ensure optimal stock levels. Your attention to detail and understanding of **logistics** processes are essential. This position requires adherence to strict **safety** standards, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe **lifting** practices. The ideal candidate will be proficient with inventory management systems and possess strong analytical skills. We are dedicated to creating a secure and efficient warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Implementing and refining inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering as necessary.
- Managing warehouse organization to ensure efficient stock retrieval.
- Reporting on inventory accuracy and suggesting improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assisting with receiving and put-away processes when needed.
