About
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and comfort.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
* Assist dentists during examinations
* Conduct patient assessments including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with clinic policies.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Utilize Eaglesoft software for documentation and patient management.
* Review documentation to ensure compliance with medical coding standards.
*Skills*
* Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and hygiene practices.
* Experience in documentation review to maintain accurate patient records.
* Familiarity with infection control measures within a dental clinic setting.
* Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, ensuring comprehensive care.
* Knowledge of medical coding principles is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
