About
Become a vital part of our fulfillment center as an Order Picker in Washington, D.C.! We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanners, locating items, and ensuring they are safely packed. A strong commitment to safety and efficiency is key to success in this position. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform consistent lifting is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order requirements using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify item quantities and product codes.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
