Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Cincinnati, Ohio! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our busy warehouse. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after use, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all safety protocols. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and stage products accurately.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts is required.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
