This position is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment, contributing directly to the efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders efficiently and correctly, using appropriate materials to protect items during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping and tracking information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all supplies are readily available.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory checks as needed to ensure stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Move packed orders to the designated shipping area, supporting the outbound logistics flow.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Previous experience in a picker/packer or warehouse role is preferred. Must be capable of performing lifting up to 30 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy are vital. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. A proactive approach to safety is essential. Successful candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
