As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Stage outgoing orders for loading onto delivery trucks, contributing to smooth logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Perform tasks involving significant lifting, bending, and standing.
- Contribute to overall team performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals. Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment. Must comply with all safety regulations and consistently wear appropriate PPE. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are highly valued.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a warehouse setting with potential for exposure to varying temperatures. Continuous adherence to safety standards is critical, including the mandatory use of PPE such as safety shoes and gloves. The job involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting and movement of goods. Safety training will be provided to ensure proper techniques for lifting and handling materials within our logistics operations.
