Job Summary:
Join our innovative team in Austin, Texas, as a Warehouse Technician! This role is designed for individuals with a technical aptitude and a passion for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse machinery and systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, automated systems, and material handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, and a solid understanding of industrial equipment. We are looking for someone who prioritizes Safety , is adept at using diagnostic tools, and can work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is essential. You must be comfortable wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to stringent safety standards. This role may involve Lifting of equipment and components up to 60 lbs. Opportunities for continuous learning and development in advanced logistics technologies are available.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Install new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE .
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment availability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to equipment functionality.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized maintenance area.
