We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary duties will include accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices, preparing them for packing, and ensuring order accuracy. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina. You will navigate the warehouse aisles, locate specified products, and ensure they are handled with care. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is essential, and strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and capable of lifting items as required. This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on customer orders.
- Use RF scanners and pick lists to identify and locate products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with hand-held scanning devices is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
