About
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within our busy logistics facility in Tampa, Florida, as a Forklift Operator. This role is vital for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess a current forklift certification, a strong safety record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for daily equipment checks and for adhering to all warehouse Safety procedures. Teamwork and communication are key to success in this position. We are committed to providing a secure working environment, and adherence to all Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. This is a physically demanding role that requires focus and precision. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and securely.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and traffic rules to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
