We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled with care and accuracy. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will work closely with team members to maintain an organized and safe working environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements and shipping schedules.
- Load and unload trucks, safely handling materials of varying sizes and weights.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required/provided).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within established timelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
