Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and play a crucial role in managing our inventory and fulfilling customer orders. We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to efficiency, accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled correctly from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products for outgoing shipments, ensuring order accuracy.
- Store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational deadlines.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle significant Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
