Become a key player in our Dallas, Texas facility as an Order Picker! This vital role involves meticulously selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. We're searching for dedicated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. As an Order Picker, you'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring order accuracy and efficient processing within our logistics network. Your precision and speed will be essential to our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves and storage locations using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correctness and completeness.
- Package picked items appropriately for safe transit, maintaining product integrity.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to products and tools.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming goods when needed.
- Contribute to team efforts by supporting colleagues and meeting daily productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring considerable physical activity, including repetitive Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
