About
We have an immediate opening for a certified Forklift Operator in our Denver, Colorado warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring the timely movement of goods and supporting the overall productivity of the team. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, including adherence to all forklift operating procedures, regular equipment inspections, and the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with efficiency and care.
- Stack and stage inventory in designated areas according to warehouse layout.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Follow all guidelines for Safe Lifting and material handling when not operating a forklift.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting and climbing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics workflows.
