Our Boise, Idaho facility is seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage the inflow of goods into our warehouse. As a vital part of our **logistics** chain, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming shipments. This includes unloading, inspecting, documenting, and stocking received items. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. This role involves regular **lifting** and requires adherence to all company **safety** protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries from various carriers.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Tag and stage items for put-away or direct distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other receiving equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company **safety** standards and procedures.
- Properly use all required **PPE**, including **safety** footwear and gloves.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of incoming freight.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of **logistics** operations by ensuring timely processing.
- Participate in **safety** training and actively promote a **safety**-conscious workplace.
