You will be expected to perform routine checks on equipment, maintain accurate records of material movement, and work collaboratively with other warehouse associates. The job involves frequent **lifting** and requires the ability to maneuver in tight spaces. Adherence to all **safety** regulations and the proper use of **PPE** is non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of inventory.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of material movements and inventory counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company **safety** policies and OSHA regulations.
- Wear appropriate **PPE**, including **safety** shoes, vests, and hard hats as required.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including some **lifting**.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth **logistics** flow.
- Participate in regular **safety** meetings and training.
- Ensure forklift **safety** procedures are followed by all personnel in the vicinity.
