Join our dynamic **Logistics** center in Chicago, Illinois, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify product details, quantities, and codes against order forms.
- Utilize scanning devices to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and mandatory **PPE** requirements.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to a specified weight, following safe practices.
- Notify supervisors of any inventory discrepancies or operational issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets within the **Logistics** framework.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Prior experience in a warehouse picking or packing role is advantageous. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to perform accurate **Lifting** of up to 50 pounds is required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team. A thorough understanding of **PPE** and **Safety** procedures is mandatory. Experience within a **Logistics** environment is a plus. This role demands diligence and a focus on quality.
