Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities are picked.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is beneficial.
