You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items from shelves and storage locations based on order tickets. Accuracy and efficiency are key as you contribute to the smooth flow of **logistics**. This position requires a good understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and all employees must adhere to **safety** regulations, including the proper use of **PPE**. The role involves a significant amount of walking, bending, and reaching, as well as frequent **lifting** of products up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all **safety** procedures, including proper **PPE** usage.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Perform **lifting** of items as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and **lifting** up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Commitment to **safety**.
