Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

• Design and implement customized treatment plans to improve daily functioning

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams to deliver coordinated care

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment

• Monitor and document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly

• Work with patients of varying ages and conditions, including post-op, orthopedic, and neurological cases

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico (or eligibility)

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master’s or Doctorate)

• Current BLS certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred, but strong new grads will be considered

• Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills
